How Rescue Roofer Began

Rescue Roofer was founded in 1993 by Eric Enriquez and Darrin Guttman, both 26 years old, in the San Fernando Valley. What started as a small startup grew rapidly during and after the Northridge Earthquake, when the demand for quality roofing became urgent across Southern California.

After three years, Darrin sold his stake — and in 2019, both founders reunited with a singular mission: to change the construction experience. With expanded operations reaching Texas and multiple states, Rescue Roofer has grown into one of the most trusted roofing brands in the region.
